摘要：In this paper the performance of the intrusion detection system SNORT, SURICATA are analyzed and tested for Packet loss. It is observed that there is a significant increase in the packet drop when the traffic speed is increased simultaneously. Similarly when the packet size is increased then the drop in packets also decreases.
