摘要:INNOVATION PLAYS THE CRITICAL ROLE AND BRINGS MANY BENEFITS TO THE EDUCATION CONTEXT.LANGUAGE EDUCATION AND TEACHING ARE CHANGING CONTINUOUSLY AND THE TRADITIONALMETHODS ARE REPLACED BY NEWER EDUCATION NOTIONS. MOREOVER, INNOVATION IN ENGLISHTEACHING HAS BECOME A MAJOR ‘GROWTH AREA’. THEREFORE, TO ADAPT WITH THE NEW SOCIALAND ECONOMIC CHALLENGES, TEACHERS’ INNOVATION MUST BE DEVELOPED. THIS STUDY IS DONETO UNDERSTAND PERCEPTIONS AND PRACTICE IN INNOVATION OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS ATUNIVERSITIES IN HO CHI MINH CITY (VIETNAM). TO ESTABLISH FOUNDATIONS FOR THERECOMMENDATION FORMULATION FOR TEACHERS’ INNOVATIVE SKILLS, THE COMBINED SECONDARYAND PRIMARY DATA ARE USED TO REACH STUDY OBJECTIVES. THE SECONDARY DATA IS GAINEDTHROUGHT THE SYSTEMATIC AND CONTENT ANALYSES FROM PUBLISHED PAPERS OF DIFFERENTSOURCES, AND THE PRIMARY DATA IS GENERATED THROUGH ONLINE QUESTIONNAIRE/ SURVEYS,SEMI-STRUCTURED TALKS AND INTERVIEWS WITH ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS ANDADMINISTRATORS.
