摘要:AbstractDengue fever is a virus infection transmitted by asian tiger mosquitos which affects more than half of the world’s population. Previous dengue cases in Europe could be traced back to an infection outside of Europe, so called non autochthonous cases. Unfortunately, mosquitos capable of transmitting dengue are currently (re-)invading Europe including Germany. Therefore, possible outbreaks of dengue in Europe seem possible in the future. This possibility is emphasized by the outbreaks of Chikungunya fever (transmitted by the same mosquitos) in France and Italy in the year 2007. The dengue virus comes in four different serotypes. Extensive research was performed previously for several variants of a one serotype dengue model. In this paper we consider a new version of an optimal control problem for a vaccination strategy with two dengue serotypes.
