摘要：AbstractThis study aims to determine the typology of the manufacturing industry based on the region and the factors which affect manufacturing industries clusters in East Java. The analytical instruments used to verify the typology are Static Location Quotient (SLQ) and Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ), whereas logistic regression binary analysis model was applied to reveal the causes of manufacturing industries clusters. The results of this study recommend several developments of new clusters for each type of industry which hopefully will increase the efficiency and help the expansion process of economic development in East Java.
