摘要:AbstractThe aim of this study is to analyze Socio-Emotional Intelligence (SEI) of Colombian Children at Primary Education depending on the setting (rural vs. urban). For it, 1451 students in fourth and fifth grade of Primary Education took part in the study. TheEmotional Quotient Inventory: Youth Version(EQ-i: YV, Bar-On & Parker, 2000) was the instrument used. The results showed that different dimensions of SEI were different according to the setting. Implications for education are discussed.
