摘要:AbstractEvery heritage building has it values or cultural heritage significance, and its values are being perceived differently by various stakeholders. Today, the task of assessing the heritage significance does not depend solely on the experts but also to the public as well. The purpose of this research is to discover and understand public perception of the significance of two heritage buildings in Kuala Lumpur. The research used mixed-methodologies comprising survey questionnaires and site observations. The results showed that the public and the experts’ view on cultural significance are similar, and this undoubtedy contributes to sustainable practice for heritage conservation.
