摘要:AbstractThe purposes of this study were; a) to follow up and assess the result of the new generation teacher policy in Thailand; b) To study the problems, obstacles and suggestion of the new generation teacher policy and c) to study participants’ satisfaction of process of the policy. The study sample consists of 149 participants who attend new generation teacher program in Thailand. This descriptive study drew upon questionnaires, records of group discussion in seminar and documents as data sources. With statistically analysis, percentages, arithmetic means and standard deviation were used to analyze quantitative data while content analysis was used to analyze qualitative data. The findings indicated that they showed their good teaching skills and performance after participation in the new generation teacher program. The program could develop student teachers’ content knowledge, understanding about teacher's role, and being a good teacher. However, student teachers had faced problems including continuing of the program and limited choice of school after their graduation. According to the educational policy, these findings suggested that it should be plan and develop professional experience training to develop student teachers’ skill, performance and attitude toward the program.
