Created in1998 as Cuadernos de Economía y Dirección de la Empresa(CEDE),the journal soon became the leading academic out-let for papers on management in Spanish. No shortcuts weretakenon the road to success. Quite simply, a high standardof editing was set from the start, in line with internationalreviewstandards. The efforts of the successive editorialteams and the support of a whole association, ACEDE, didthe rest.
