摘要：AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to explore the pertinent issues in the relationship between Total Quality Management (TQM) and SME performance. This paper also discusses the need for mediation in the relationship between TQM and SMEs performance, namely organization learning. The conceptual paper undertakes a thorough review of the relevant literature before developing propositions regarding practices of TQM, organization learning and performance of SMEs. The paper anticipates that TQM will support both organization learning and performance of SMEs. Future research should be conducted to carry out an empirical analysis to validate and/or modify the propositions presented in this paper.
