摘要：It gives me an immense pleasure and honour to edit this special issue of “Procedia - Social and Behavioral Sciences”for the selected reviewed and revised papers presented during a two-day conference on International Relationswith the theme of India and Development Partnerships in Asia and Africa: Towards a New Paradigm. Theevent was organized by Symbiosis International University at the University's Lavale Campus in Pune on the14th-15th December, 2013 with the support of the Public Diplomacy Division, Ministry of External Affairs,Govt. of India. The event was inaugurated by Hon'ble Shri M. Hamid Ansari, Vice President of India on 14thDecember, 2013.
