摘要：It is a great honor for me to edit this special issue of the Journal Procedia Social and Behavioral Sciences for theselected revised papers presented at the 5th International Conference on Corpus Linguistics (CILC2013), which washeld in Alicante, Spain, from 14 to 16 March, 2013. The conference, organized by the University Institute ofApplied Modern Languages (IULMA) at the University of Alicante under the umbrella of the Spanish Associationfor Corpus Linguistics (AELINCO), follows successful conferences on the topic, held for the first time in 2009 inMurcia (2009), and followed by La Coruña (2010), Valencia (2011), and Jaén (2012), and next conference takingplace in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (2014).
