摘要:AbstractAs social transformations become more ample and profound, professional development appears as a necessity to adapt to changes occurring along a person's career path. The aim of this study was to capture the relationships between teachers’ atti tude toward continuous professional training, their resistance to change and their age. Te research sample: 62 school teachers from Timişoara, Romania (31 within the 22-30 years age group, and 31 within the 40-60 years age group). The test portfolio: Revised Adult Attitudes Toward Continuing Education Scale (Blunt & Yang, 2002) and Resistance to Change Scale (Oreg et al., 2008). The results obtained indicated that there are differences in the teachers’ attitude toward continuous training as well as in their resistance to change, according to the age variable.
