摘要:Recent studies have shown that at least 5-10 hours of language therapy a week are required torelease the full potential of brain reorganization after a stroke (Bhogal, Teasell, Speechley, 2003).Nevertheless, many people with chronic aphasia receive only 1-2 hours of language therapy a week. This makes it essential to develop therapy methods that enable an independent, massed practice.Teletreatment provides an innovative approach to achieve this (Radermacher, 2009; Wallesch &Johannsen-Horbach, 2004). Combined with an additional care by language therapists, teletreatmentcan be adapted to the individual needs and communication skills of the subjects.
