摘要:Studies of the clinical characteristics of conduction aphasia (CA) focused mainly on the linguisticdeficits and few studies looked into the associated cognitive deficits such as number processing,short-term memory functions, or calculation.Several numerical processing models have been proposed to account for deficits in numberreading, writing, and calculations (McCloskey et. al., 1985). McCloskey and colleagues developedan information processing model that maintains a distinction between the number processing and thecalculation systems. From the modular structures of this model, predictions can be made aboutselective impairment of distinct processing components.
