摘要:AbstractTurkish Higher Education Council's recent changes in the curricula of Faculties of Education mandatedContextualized Grammar I and IIcourses for English Language Teacher Education programs in support of preparing teachers to teach in a rather constructivist and communicative language learning environments. This present study aimed at understanding pre-service English language teachers’ previous grammar learning experiences in terms of how grammar was studied/taught in their classrooms and their opinions on the content and delivery ofContextualized Grammar Icourse in comparison to their previous grammar learning experiences. Ninety-eight first year students who were takingContextualized Grammar Icourse participated in this study with their written responses answering the two research questions mentioned above.
