摘要:AbstractMacro-micro thinking is very important in chemistry and chemistry education because chemists try to explain material properties by their structures. Material properties are also associated with their applications in human life. This is especially important for undergraduate students. The purpose of this study is to find a conceptual map model for teaching about alkanes. 205 students who have passed organic chemistry I course were selected. Exam results were analyzed by using structural equation modeling (SEM) and led to the production of the desired model. This model is used in the design of the educational content. Moreover, the application to e-learning, digital contents and intelligent tutoring systems and many other applications can be found in these conceptual map models.
