摘要:AbstractThis paper presents a life-cycle cost analysis system, called OPTIPAV, which can consider construction costs, maintenance and rehabilitation costs, user costs, and the residual value of the pavement. The OPTIPAV was applied to the flexible pavement structures of the Portuguese pavement design manual. The paper also presents a sensitivity analysis to the discount rate. The results obtained by the application of the new LCCA system clearly indicate that, for any combination between traffic and pavement foundation, the optimum pavement structure always remains the same or decreases in terms of structural capacity with the increase of the discount rate value.
