摘要:Childhood traumatic brain injury (TBI) is associated with a range of cognitive deficits, including working memory, cognitive control, and language processing. Because of the range of deficits typically accompanying childhood TBI, it can be difficult to discern the nature of the underlying relationships among deficits by only comparing whether TBI children as a group are impaired on a set of tasks. The present study was conducted to assess the relationship between measures of general cognitive abilities and language processing in an individual diftrences study comparing relative level of impairment on diferent tasks.
