  • 摘要:The discussion about sustainability is a reality in public and private organizations, and began reflections and questions about his form of responsibility and management. This paper aimed to identify the competencies found in tactical level managers, which may aid in the development of sustainable practices in a multinational food industry organization. In this case study, the data were collected through desk research, semi-structured interviews with two coordinators and two analysts, and have been used a questionnaire to self-assessment of managers and engineers in relation to skills focused on sustainability. The results generated contributions of theoretical and practical. Emerged from theoretical skills and deliveries aimed at sustainability managers’ tactical level as well as the development of an assessment tool such skills.Thus was presented the importance of developing a body of managers sensitive to organizational sustainability practices and realized that sustainability can find on the management skills practical support to the organizational awareness.
