  • 摘要:This article presents a methodology for automatic integration between aerial digital images and LIDAR data. The aerial and the LIDAR surveying were accomplished in distinct times and in different flight missions. The intensity image was generated by interpolation from 3D positions and laser pulse return information contained in the LIDAR cloud points. The knowledge of the positions in both kind of image: aerial digital image and intensity image, means to know the point position in the image and object spaces. So these points could be considered as the control ones. The matching among RGB image and LIDAR intensity image is not trivial due to their accented radiometric differences. The images are automatically processed and their point correspondence are based upon corners and edges detection, area based matching, cross correlation coefficient, and 2D affine transformation. The process finishes with the computation of the exterior orientation parameters using spatial resection controlled by control points extracted automatically.
