摘要:Multicultural education to be urgently developed in Indonesia because it is relevant to the condition of Indonesia's population of diverse aspects of religious, sociocultural, and geographically. With multicultural education are expected to provide an equal education for all students. To guide the implementation of multicultural education in order to be effective, need to consider five dimensions: content integration, the process of constructing knowledge, prejudice reduction, equitable pedagogy, and empowering school culture and social structure. In addition, in order to multicultural education in schools can be run effectively and efficiently, need to be managed by qualified management. Management can be applied in multicultural education in schools is a school-based management approach to the school in total quality management (total quality school), which covers the five pillars, namely: customer focus, comprehensive engagement, measurement, commitment, and continuous improvement, which is based on the beliefs and values ??ofthe school. With the five dimensions of multicultural education, its implementation in schools, can dikreasi by applying total quality management school. Beliefs and values ??in the multicultural school should be a strong foundation for the operational development of the five dimensions of multicultural education. The five pillars of total quality management in schools should be a reference at each step in developing the five dimensions of multicultural education in schools. Such conditions are expected to produce a multicultural education in school quality and student achievement is rising as well.
