摘要：Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) after attaining thesuccess with respect to meet the targeted goals like to reduce extremepoverty, child mortality, hunger etc. in 2015, were replaced by theSustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted at Global level. Theobjectives of very frst goals of SDGs (1 & 2), to end poverty andhunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promotesustainable agriculture signifes the critical role of enhancing adaptationto climate change. The Paris Agreement which has also been adoptedin 2015 by 195 Nations underlines the links between safeguardingfood security and ending hunger and the impacts of climate change.According to the Paris Climate Change Agreement even if the increasein temperature is restricted to less than 20 C
