标题：A FAMÍLIA E O CUIDADO PRESTADO EM DOMICÍLIO AO PACIENTE EM TRATAMENTO QUIMIOTERÁPICO

摘要：Este estudo objetivou conhecer a organização da família para o cuidado em domicílio aos familiares em tratamento quimioterápico. Consiste num estudo exploratório, descritivo, qualitativo, realizado num serviço de quimioterapia de um hospital escola do Rio Grande do Sul. Foram coletados dados de agosto a setembro de 1999, com entrevistas semi- estruturadas gravadas e transcritas. A temática de análise foi a organização da família para o cuidado. As práticas de cuidado identificadas nos resultados foram: realizar ou ajudar na higienização, colaborar no preparo e oferecimento da alimentação, apoio psicológico quando ocorrem os efeitos colaterais da medicação. Concluimos que o familiar cuidador de paciente em tratamento quimioterápico não dispõe de informações suficientes para desenvolver um cuidado qualificado ao doente, porém se organiza para o cuidado desempenhando papel de cuidador conforme suas possibilidades.
其他摘要：This study it objectified to know the organization of the family for the care in domicile to the relatives ones in chemotherapy treatment. Consists of a exploratory, descriptive, qualitative study, carried through in a service of chemotherapy of a hospital school of the Great River of the South had been collected given of August the September of 1999, by means of semi-structured interviews which have been recorded and afterwards transcribed. The thematic one of analysis was the organization of the family for the care. The practical ones of care identified in the results had been: to carry through or to help in the hygienic cleaning, to collaborate in the preparation and serving of the feeding, psychological support when the collateral effect of the medication occur. Conclusions that the relatives caregiving of patient in chemotherapy treatment does not make use of information enough to develop a qualified care to the sick person, however if organizes for the care playing paper of in agreement caregiving its possibilities.
