标题：ALIMENTAÇÃO DE CRIANÇAS DE 3 A 6 ANOS QUE FREQUENTAM INSTITUIÇÕES DE EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL, SEGUNDO SUAS MÃES

摘要：Purpose : to know mother’s perception on the feeding of their children with ages ranging from 3 to 7 uncompleted years that were at kindergarten. Methodology : this is a qualitative research which allows knowing, interpreting and understanding the phenomenon according to the individual’s point of view. An individual directive interview was used and analyzed according to the content. Results : three categories were obtained: feeding children at home, use strategies to stimulate children’s ingestion and to improve the child feeding of those who were in the kindergarten full time. Conclusion s: the difficulty and the erroneous attitudes presented by the mothers when feeding their children, needs a special attention and a conjoint work between Institutions of Infant Education and the families. This is an important health field in general and specially for nursing which works with primary care.
