摘要:The traditional performance evaluation parameters such as total oxygen transfer coefficient (KLa), transfer number (NT) and standard oxygen transfer efficiency (SSOTE) are commonly used for fine bubble diffused aeration systems. Despite these parameters have shown the performance of the aeration system, they fail to exhibit the aeration air demand varying with volume of water in aeration tank directly. The volume ratio of aeration air to water (Vg/Vw) can be used for more directly describing the relationship between the air demand and the water volume, and more conveniently designing the aeration systems. In this paper, the standard tests of oxygenation performances of fine bubble diffused aeration systems in clean water are performed in cylindrical tanks. Accordingly the function relationship between the volume ratio of aeration air to water and dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration is developed. The results of this study indicate that the DO concentration is an increasing function of the volume ratio of aeration air to water, and the ratio is expressed as scale-up with the pressure and the diameter of initial air bubbles entering the aeration tank respectively. To validate the volume ratio of aeration air to water, this paper compares the performance of three fine bubble diffused aeration systems evaluated by Vg/Vw with those by SSOTE , Nt and Kl«2。,and finds their performance evaluation results are coincident with each other.
