摘要：This issue of IJUSD covers a range of topics dealing with sustainable environments, economies and mobility in cities. The articles provide institutional, social, economic and ecological analyses to identify context-specific and transferable lessons from different experiences for better integration of environmental and developmental agendas. The articles also provide quantitative tools for measuring carrying capacities of urban regions and economic impact of contamination on surrounding housing markets. In addition, we have an insightful commentary highlighting emerging research agendas in urban economic development for inclusive and socially sustainable urban futures.
