摘要：http://dx.doi.org/10.5902/223611704023Os eventos climáticos geram conseqüências, como as catástrofes naturais com chuvas intensas, inundações, secas, furações ou outro fenômeno climático. Com reflexibilidade em toda a sociedade; os impactos desses eventos climáticos atingem diretamente a economia, gerando perdas de vidas e problemas físicos e mentais a saúde humana. Este estudo tem por objetivo apontar a importância das discussões interdisciplinares sobre os problemas causados pelos eventos climáticos e a sua repercussão na saúde e na economia mundial, assim como um novo modelo de desenvolvimento. Trata-se de um estudo reflexivo e interdisciplinar, embasado na literatura especializada. Há a exigência de um novo pensamento de sustentabilidade, onde os eventos climáticos põem em risco a segurança alimentar, a produção de energia, interferindo na economia e na saúde das pessoas. Concluímos que um dos caminhos para mudanças é por meio da educação ambiental de forma interdisciplinar e nessa nova ordem mundial não se pode mais dissociar as relações economia, pessoas e o meio ambiente.

Therefore, the impacts ofthese weather events may affect the economy directly, causing not only loss of lives, but also physicaland mental health problems. This study aims to highlight the importance of interdisciplinary discussionson the problems caused by weather events and its impact on healthy and global economy, as well as anew development model. Thus, it is a reflective and interdisciplinary study, grounded on the literature.There is a need for a new sustainable thinking, where weather events threaten the food security, energyproduction, interfering in the economy and healthy. Hecne, we conclude that one way to change isthrough an interdisciplinary environmental education, since in this new world order it´s no longerpossible to separate economic relationships, people and the environment.
