摘要：The aim of the present research is to analyze Colombian foreign policy through the lenses of constructivism conceptual framework. Constructivism is an useful tool when analyzing the international relationship between countries, because it abandons stereotypes that predict standardized future actions and focuses in the analysis of the interdependence in the conformation of identities and interests, which are altered while the relationship with the other country progresses. In this sense, constructivism serves to analyze the evolution of the last 15 years of Colombian Foreign Policy, because during this time, the country´s identity has been transformed. This has generated changes in the way that it is perceived internationally, which has made easier the cooperation with other countries. By conducting a survey we expect to obtain perceptions, with the aim to understand Colombian foreign policy transformation, and its identity in the international scenario from the indicated analytical perspective.
