摘要：This work explains the state of the art regarding the integration of new vocabulary for Construction and Sustainable Development. For this purpose it states an argumentation about construction of sustainable buildings regarding energy-saving and natural resources preservation, reutilization of resources, management of buildings life-cycle including all the components, and some considerations are pointed out as for quality not only of materials and buildings, but also of urban environment. These considerations refer both to materials and to the technology employed for a good energetic efficiency of the buildings and of the construction techniques.
