摘要:The subject of this study are Phoenician painted wares from the trading-post or factory at Mogador. The material comprises some hundred fragments belonging to a range of shapes including narrow-necked vases, pithos-shaped jars, hemispherical cups, etc. The establishment of a typology for each of these forms has lead to the discovery of close parallels between pieces from Gadir -Castillo de Dª Blanca and those from factories in the province of Málaga. These characteristic shapes and decorations are to be found in pottery produced centuries later at Banasa and Kuass.
