摘要：The 25 years experience in diagnosis and research on rare neurological diseases in Siena is reported. After a brief introduction of the concept of rare neurological diseases and their frequency, the diagnostic strategy and the casuistic is described. The Cerebrotendinous xanthomatosis is reported as an example.
