摘要:AbstractThis paper studies a joint transmission scheduling and controller design problem, which minimizes a linear combination of the control cost and expected energy usage of the sensor. Assuming that the sensor transmission decisions are event-based and determined using the random estimation error covariance information available to the controller, we show a separation in the design of the transmission scheduler and controller. The optimal controller is given as the solution to an LQG-type problem, while the optimal transmission policy is a threshold policy on the estimation error covariance at the controller.
