  • 摘要:Diesel is one of the most common used fuels in our life today. One of its popular usages in Jordanians’ homes is in central heating unit, where diesel is stored in a tank outside the home and actually in an underground tank. Cheating in quality of the diesel is a big problem that has faced many people. However, there is no dedicated instrument until now that determined the percentage of the water in the diesel home tank. So, the objective of this paper is to design such system that can help the people who have diesel tanks in their homes to determine the percentage of water in a remote diesel tank in accurate, easy and fast way. A special capacitor is designed to be the main part of the system. The designed idea depends on the dielectric constant difference between water and diesel. The system hardwires design and implementation is based on the signal driving and conditioning circuits associated with various electronic components connected with microcontroller. The results show that the designed capacitor meter sensor measures the percentage of water with accuracy about 99%.
