摘要:Nowadays, the higher education trend is to emerge the traditional and online learning, placing a high concern on the development of Information Technology and deployment of e-learning. The aim of this study was to evaluate the features of information technology usage and to assess the attitudes and preferences towards e-learning courses resources among the students at the public University in Malaysia, which offered online courses resources besides the traditional education. A questionnaire was administered in three parts and a total of 515 students responded to the survey. Students indicated a strong reliance on university facilities to access the Internet from the campus, and in using the infrastructure facilities and services. Another revealed result that the students’ attitudes and preferences toward online e-learning resources were positive and the availability of information about courses was the most important for the students' attitude toward using e-learning, and for the improvement of their course performance. Furthermore, students prefer taking courses which incorporate the use of Information Technology, and indicate that activities provided in interactive multimedia or e-learning systems are more effective compared to traditional classroom activities.
