摘要:he main purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between organizational ethics and job satisfaction. Data was collected from a convenience sample of 230 bank employees working in both public and private sector. Based on organizational justice and organizational cognitive dissonance theory, the results indicate that egoistic climate for ethics and job satisfaction are negatively related, and that both benevolent climate and top management support for ethical behavior are found to be positively related with job satisfaction. Contrary to this, principled ethical climate does not have relationship with job satisfaction. The findings suggest that an organization having strong ethical climate and supportive top management for ethical behaviors is likely to yield more favorable work related as well as organizational outcomes.
