摘要:This research aims mainly at assessing the situation of knowledge culture and examining its relationship with employee creativity in state-run organizations of West Azerbaijan province. The conceptual framework drawn upon to measure knowledge culture is the theories of McDermott and O’Dell (2001) and Pemberton and Stonehouse (2000) and Stein’s theory is used to measure creativity. The hypotheses of the research include one main and nine minor hypotheses. The methodology is descriptive-co relational. The relationship between knowledge culture and employee creativity was confirmed on the basis of analysis conducted on the data collected. The order of priority of the elements of knowledge culture in relation to creativity is found out to be as follows: social interactions; open atmosphere; latitude vis-à-vis control and limitation; power to hoard knowledge; top management support; trust; reward; organizational commitment; and personal belief.
