  • 摘要:Keyword: Key Word : social, support, odhaAbstrack:ABSTRACT :AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) is a disease that includes chronic category, which appears related with an infection caused by the entry of a virus called HIV (human immunodeficiency virus). HIV attacks and reduce the human immune function, can enter the human body through the exchange of body fluids during sexual conduct relationship, through blood, through breast milk exposed to HIV, as well as through sharing needles together with individuals exposed to HIV. The virus is gradually making more and more endurance and less leads to death. While up to now is the absence of a vaccine that can cure or kill the virus. This can make people with AIDS experience high stress, which if not intervene will negatively affect health in relation to the decline in immune function. One form of intervention to overcome feelings of depression / stress is through the social support provided individuals experiencing environmental stress. The definition of social support is a form of assistance from people around the individual who is considered close to emotional and physical functioning and providing psychological comfort. Social support can be given in the form of emotional support, informational support, instrumental or tangible support, and companionship support. This study aims toobtain a picture of the social support to people living with HIV, and the impact of social support for people living with HIV. In this research, researchers used a qualitative approach in the form of case studies. The subject of this research is a man who exposed the HIV virus and the number one person. In this research used interview techniques and non-participant observation. Based on research results, the general subject of social support from family, wife, and co-workers. Subjects obtained the support is emotional support, informational support, instrumental or tangible support, and companionship support, support a positive impact on the lives of the subject. For health, the subject became more concerned with his health. If viewed from the psychological impact, subject to a motivated, more confident in doing things and becomes lighter in doing so. As for social impacts, the subject becomes more friends, felt he means, and thesubjects included in group activities. In addition to these effects, there are unisex impact jobs that can optimize their ability, make the subject's ability increases, the subject can evaluate the job and get the information required iii so that subjects can help in providing information on health access to the group members support.
