  • 摘要:Keyword: Abstrack:Adolescence is one period in human development is of interest to be discussed because in adolescence, a person experiencing many changes and difficulties that must be faced. Adolescence is considered a transitional period during the transition from childhood into adulthood. In the period of adolescence, usually teenagers try to be able to build a mature relationship with peers (Irwanto, 1994). Wenar and Dry (in Ashadi, 2007) said that the need for achievement is one motive that plays an important role in adolescents. That's because, the needs of high achievers that will encourage teens to focus on the achievement of this study aims to examine the relationship between conformity to the group with achievement motivation in adolescents, especially on college students. This research was conducted with subjects who have characteristics students which age 18-21 years old. Reliability on a scale of 0.799 group conformity, where the 33 items tested there are 23 items with a valid. The scale reliability motivation achievement of 0.827, where the 42 items tested there are 29 valid items. Based on the results of this research is the correlation value of -0.307 with a significance of 0.002 (P < 0.05). It is concluded that there was a significant negative relationship between achievement motivation, conformity with the group in late adolescence, which means that when conformity to the group at the high end of the adolescent achievement motivation in adolescent low end opposite when conformity low end of the youth group, achievement motivation in adolescent high-end . This is due in late adolescence have usually started independently and think about the future. From the descriptive analysis calculations based on gender is known that the mean value of group conformity in women greater than men, where as the mean value on achievement motivation in males larger than females. While the calculation of descriptiveconformity known groups based on age at the age of 18 years has the highest value with the mean value of 45.17 and at the age of 21 years for the mean valueof 83.6 on achievement motivation. The result of calculations based on birth order descriptive note that the eldest child has a mean value of conformity and high achievement motivation.
