  • 摘要:Currently in Indonesia increasingly widespread drug trafficking that can be seenthrough the mass media and electronic. Drugs indiscriminately, all levels ofsociety become the target and teenager is the most tender of drug abuse(Juniartha, 1996). According Hawari drug problem is like "a mountain of icethat appeared on the surface only". Based on his research with his group thenumber of victims of drug users approximately 1.3 million people. Theirinvolvement in drug abuse is very unfortunate because the youth is the hope ofyoung shoots of the nation. Progress of a nation in the future depends on theyouth today. Not a few of those who have become drug users have thewillingness to stop even a few of them are also successful. For a total healing fordrug users is not an easy thing to say is very difficult. Total healing is a situationwhere the user really disconnected from drugs and experience changes inpersonality and lifestyle after having broken the substance for 12 months(Sakapurnama, 2001).Medium according Hawari (1999) argued that the timerequired to restore the physical and psychological state of users drug users sothat he can function normally again in his life as as an individual may take aminimum of 2 years. Healing can be done by using one therapy technique that isreligious, according to Anwar (2004) in this therapy treatment did not use themedical approach. Former drug users need to improve self concept so theywould not return to the same abyss. So they can re-optimize their motivation toactively find and choose a way of life or way of life according to his abilityBrooks and Emmer (in Haitami, 2003). Self-concept plays a role in overcomingthe crisis in a person's identity. How far can a person perceives his ability in aparticular situation or thing and then direct them to be successful or not inachieving what they want, with consideration of the norms of society (Mukhtaret al, 2003). According to Roger (the Mukhtar et al, 2003) concept of self can beviewed as one based on reality ownership self and ideals themselves. Realityitself off from the experience or the decision itself, while idealism itself off froman idea of how a person becomes his own. For the former drug user with a positive self concept will avoid involvement in drug abuse again. Because itallows for him to look at yourself in a positive way so that they can overcometheir own problems with his ability. This study aims to determine empiricallythe background and the factors that can cause a person to use drugs, how theprocess of healing from drug use and self-concept subject as a former druguser. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews andobservation. This research subject is a male former drug user who has returnedin his neighborhood, had been stopped for at least 1 year of drug use and agebetween 20 to 25 years. Beside the interviews conducted with the subject, theresearchers also conducted interviews with the significant other's brother and afriend of the subject subject. As individuals who have bad experiences withdrugs have found the subject of self-concept can be implanted in him. Withgood self-concept subject to know how he should treat himself or herself in avariety of conditions that are not easily influenced by things worse and couldeventually be treated well by others, so be able to mix freely but still inaccordance with existing norms in the environment are. By not using the drugcan be subject to more control over his emotions, aware of the shortcomings andcan cover it. Although the state of health, appearance and body language is notthe same subject before using the drug but sure of himself that now and thismakes it far more confident.
