摘要：Being a student is a dream for every person for the future career field. Manystudents from ouside Jakarta come to Jakarta to study. However, there areproblems encountered by the students from outside Jakarta because theconditions when they were still in their home are different from the conditions inJakarta. The question now is that how those students coming from outsideJakarta, especially from West Nusa Tenggara. The purpose of this study was todetermine the adjustment of Gunadarma students who come from West NusaTenggara regions and the factors causing the adjustment process of the subjects.The research approach used is qualitative, i.e. in the form of case studies. Thesubject is only one student of Gunadarma student from West NusaTenggara. The subject was male student. To obtain the data, in-depth interviewand observation methods were conducted. The way the subject adjusts himselfwith his new environment is to learn the habits of the new culture and getaccustomed to the new society. This was done by respecting the new culturewhere the subject live.
