摘要：Keyword: Key Words:post trauma stress, survivor, earthquake disaster.Abstrack:ABSTRACT :The earthquake that occurred in Yogyakarta on May 27, 2006 cause problems, such as evacuation and destruction of infrastructure, but the seismic event can cause trauma. This study aimed to know the description of post-traumatic stress and other factors that cause trauma to children who are victims of natural disasters of earthquakes, in depth. The research approach is the approach of using case studies and depth interviews to reveal the post traumatic stress and the factors that cause post-traumatic stress on child victims of the earthquake. The subject of this study was 11 years old who is currently sitting on fourth grade of primary school and resides in Bantul. The subject is the first child of three brothers. Subjects also felt depressed in an environment which has been destroyed, subject mengengetahui earthquake that has made the environment around the subject's house was destroyed, and makes a horrible experience also changed the subject to become more independent.
