  • 摘要:Keyword: Keywords: divorce, parent, self disclosure.Abstrack:ABSTRACT :Adolescent turmoil is the age most susceptible to parental divorce. The impact that can occur in children of divorced couples are usually in terms of internal psychic. During his youth, children in search of identity and do not understand against him. The process of identity development known as "open" or in other words "self-disclosure." Disclosure itself is known as self-disclosure. According Papu(2002), self-disclosure is the provision of information about yourself to others. This information can include things like life experiences, feelings, emotions, opinions, and ideals, and so forth. This research was conducted to determine how the image of self-disclosure adolescents whose parents have divorced, the factors that lead to self-disclosure on the subject, and see how the subject performs a self-disclosure. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach in the form of case studies, a method that emphasizes research on a case that has particular characteristics and is more research that gives a picture in the cases studied. Observation method used is non-participant observation and interview methods used were structured interviews. The subject of this research is a teenager whose parents have divorced, who was 14 years old, live in Jakarta. The results generally showed that the subjects had low self-disclosure, not with just anyone, willing to open up the subject. Why the subjects are had low self-disclosure because the subject has an introvert personality type, subjects tend to be open in telling about the self to others. Subjects would describe themselves or express their feelings to the person who considers close and to understand himself, the subject will tell the story of his life more deeply if the other person react or respond positively to what she told.
