摘要：There are many drug users to wean ourselves from dependence. Theyexperience life has been controlled by drugs; so that the drug makes their lifebecomes meaningless. A strong desire to stop using the drug from within is verynecessary in order not to fall back. They try to find what a meaningful lifewithout using the drug and try to rediscover the meaning of life is lost. Thepurpose of this research is to determine the factors that led to a become drugusers, for know the meaning of life in former drug users. In this study theauthors used a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this researchare to use the technique interview and field note with the subject and SO. Tohelp the process of data collection, the researcher is equipped with a guidanceinterview and tape recorder. In the study determined a number of characteristicsfor the subjects of research that is subject of this study were male former drugusers, aged 24 years. After doing the research to the subjects about the meaningof life on the drug users were found: the factors causing drug users are subject topsychological aspects, medication or substance factors, family relationships andthe influence of friends while the description of the meaning of life in formerdrug users are still using the drug when the subject felt he had no means andafter the subjects apart from subject NAPZA feel closer to God (religious), andsubject also felt that God had granted all the prayers and desires. In addition,subjects also felt despair, emptiness and a lot of negative feelings because thesubject has no friends and can not get something the subject wants. And thesubject feels his wedding is a meaningful role in changing lives for the better.Keywords: meaning of life, ex-drug users
