  • 摘要:Modern life and contemporary development of this era, women are required andare often motivated to develop their careers by working outside the home. At thetime of his career woman also claimed to be her role as wives and mothers whonurture and care for children. This dual role raises conflict on career womenwho have a family. According to Goode (in Kaltsum, 2006), dual role conflict isperceived difficulties in performing obligations or demands of different rolestogether. Where, a career woman must be able to complete tasks both within thefamily, office, while on the other side also claimed to be able to give theperformance (performance) is maximized. This likely will affect the workmotivation of career woman to complete office tasks. This study aimed to testwhether there is a relationship between multiple role conflict with jobmotivation on the career woman who has a family. Industry Pionirbetonguesthouse located in Indonesia Level 17 kav. RW 70-71 and environment O8Lenteng Great South Jakarta district. Obtained amounted to 100 respondentswho are married working woman aged 22 years to 55 years, and have childrenaged 0-12 years and have worked a minimum of one year. The data wereobtained through questionnaires, which consisted of a dual role conflict scaleand the scale of work motivation. The data obtained were then analyzed usingSpearma who product moment correlation, correlation coefficient of -0.283 witha significance of .004. The conclusion of this study was there a significantnegative relationship between conflict with the dual role of work motivation oncareer women who have a family. which means that the higher the lower theconflict of dual roles of work motivation on the career woman who has afamily.. The results of this study also found that subjects who are at age 22 35years has a dual role conflict is high. Meanwhile, on subject of work motivationvariable from 36 to 45 years of age tend to have high work motivation. Thenbased on the age of the youngest child, a subject that has a preschool age (2 years - 5 years) experience high double role conflict. Meanwhile, on subject ofwork motivation to have children of school age (6 years - 12 years) tend to havehigh work motivation. Also based on the working lives of the subject, a subjectthat has a working period of 1-4 years old tend to have a dual role of highconflict and the variables of work motivation, subjects who have a workingperiod of 1-4 years old tend to have high work motivation. In addition, analysisof products is also known that the subject of a housemaid who has indicated thatdual role conflict is lower than that do not have a maids.key words: relatonship
