摘要：In this study, the equivalence of pronoun It into Indonesian, the writerwhishes to find out the equivalence of pronoun it. The purpose of this study is toidentify the equivalence of pronoun it from English into Indonesian. Thesubjects of this study are the English novel The Ranch by Danielle steel and itstranslation The Ranch. The Ranch consists of 509 pages and its translationconsists of 464 pages 21 chapters. From that both source of research the writerclassified five data of pronoun it to be collected. As the result English pronoun itin novel The Ranch are translated in the form of Indonesian pronoun, not in theform of Indonesian pronoun and some are translated by nil translation. Englishpronoun it are translated in the form of Indonesian pronoun to express personalpronoun, objective personal pronoun, general directional pronoun. Key Words: Equivalence, Pronoun It, Analysis
