摘要：Prepositions are the parts of speech in English. English prepositions on, in, athave several meanings in Indonesian. In some different sentences prepositionson, in, at cannot be translated into only one meaning. In this research, the writertries to find out what are the translation of english prepositions on, in, at intoindonesian. The writer takes the data from two version novels entittled TheMurder at The Vicarage by Agatha Christie and its translation entittledPembunuhan di Wisma Pendeta by Budijanto T. Pramono and the writerclassifies the translation into time and place. The aims are to find out thetranslation of English prepositions on, in, at into Indonesian and to find out theclassification of English prepositions on, in, at into time and place in eachsentence. The result of this research is that the English prepositions on, in, at arenot only translated into di in Indonesian, but also they can be translated intopada, dalam, dari, and ke.
