摘要：Generally, good movies are performed in foreign languages, such as English,Chinese, Japan, etc. However, most Indonesian viewers cannot understand thoselanguages, until the subtitling company make subtitles for those foreign films tosolve that problem. Subtitle of film that so close with our daily life was nottotally accurate, easy to understand, and sounds natural. It is naturally that therewere a lot of errors/mistakes had been made by the translator in the filmsubtitles. This study focuses on the errors/mistakes made by the translator inIndonesian film subtitle. The purpose of this study are to find inaccuracy,unclarity, and unnaturalness in Indonesian subtitles in English film. The methodemployed in this study was a descriptive method. It aimed to describe theerrors/mistakes made by the translator in the translation of English film subtitle.
