摘要：In some parts of Indonesia, English has been taught to the students since theywere at Play Group. It is taught by introducing them vocabularies that availablearound them. However, in Indonesia it is started when the students were inElementary School, but some Play Groups started to teach English in theirschool. In addition, the first lesson that they should learn is about vocabulary.The aim of the writer in arranging this research paper is the writer wants toknow the method used, to teach vocabularies. Besides, the writer wants to knowthe difficulties faced by the teacher at TK. BHAYANGKARI. In arranging thisresearch the writer uses TK.BHAYANGKARI as an object of data. Beforeanalyzing the data, the writer makes an observation and interview the teacherabout the method of teaching, the teaching aids, the difficulties faced by theteachers and by the students in learning English. To complete the data the writeruses a library research in British Council, and uses the Internet facilities. Afterobserving the method used to teach vocabularies in TK. BHAYANGKARI, thewriter gets the results of the research. The Method of Teaching Vocabulary inTK. BHAYANGKARI is direct method. This method involved the activitiessuch as speaking, imitating, and writing.
