摘要：Literature is a form to express our ideas and has a function of entertainment.We can learn about something that we have never known before from the storyin novel, short story, or drama. The problem of this research is what Rickcharacter is like and the aim of this research is to find out what Rick characteris. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. This method is descriptivebecause the data were analyzed by descriptions and oriented for the processprocedure then result. The data analysis tends to be inductive meaning isessential for qualitative research. Rick Prescott has a character that is doubtfulin express about his feeling to Neal. But in the end of the story, finally he isable to confess his feeling to Neal. And Neal has the same feeling with Rick.Then they had a relationship as a couple.
