摘要：ABSTRACT :The translation of Morning, Noon & Night taken from novel Morning, Noon& Night by Sidney Sheldon is an interesting novel to read. To find out themeaning of the story, the writer translates it into Indonesia. The novel ofMorning, Noon & Night tells about Harry Stanford (millionaire) whichbecomes the most important people that have connection with blackmail, drugs,and murder in America. Back home in Boston, as the family gathers to grievefor his memory and to war over his legacy, a stunningly beautiful young womanappears. She claims to be Stanfords long-lost daughter and entitled to her shareof his estate. Now, flaming with intrigue and passion through the glamorouspreserves of the worlds super rich, the ultimate game of wits begins, for stakestoo dazzling and deadly to imagine. The aims of this research are to get thetarget language in Indonesia from English. The writer also suggests for atranslator to understand about the source text first before they translate the text.It will be very useful if the learners understand the culture from which thesource text is taken in order that the result of the translation is approximately,culturally also equivalent.
